I
wanted to add seat belts to the M-38 so that the kids could ride around
town sometimes. This was a catch-22 thing, as it never had
seat belts, I did not have to have them by law. But the kids
had to be in car seats, and those needed to be belted in, so in they go!
The
metal of the body is fairly heavy, so I just mounted them to the body.
We never do any fast driving in the Jeep, just around town,
so we dont need much.
There
were some holes in the front already in the center, I think that there
was a rifle rack there at one time. These holes worked just
fine.
