I had a number of requests for the template that came with my safari snorkel.  While I had my template, it is both taller and wider than a normal page so I could not scan it.  I recently got an e-mail from Pasquale asking again for the template.  He ended up contacting ARB and they faxed him a make shift template that uses 3 pages that you have to line up.

At the end of this page is a link to the PDF file containing the 3 pages, but I highly recommend that you read the mini write-up on how to use it because if you drill the holes in the wrong place its not going to be pretty!

You can click on any of the pictures below to see a full size version.   At the bottom of the section, there are also direct links to all 8 original pictures.

Here is a picture of the template that came with my snorkel over the three pages that I printed from the PDF file.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you print them exactly as they are in the PDF file.  A lot of times, the printer will shrink them to fit on the page, resize them slightly etc..   If this happens, your holes will be in the wrong place.

I used a red pen here to highlight the four holes.

With the real template off, you can see the red marks from the holes.   The black holes in the printout did match all my holes in the real template.

Since if you are using this print out template you don't have the real one, I highly recommend that you tape it all together once you think it is correct, then try fitting it to the snorkel body to make sure that the mounting holes line up.   Again, check twice and drill once!   A mistake with this will be costly!

Here you can see how this area of the page joints together.

Another shot of the edges of the page.   This is not an exact template, so be very careful and be sure to check it on the snorkel body before doing any drilling on your truck.

Here you can see the real and the 3 page template side by side.
Again, I highly recommend that you check twice before you start to drill any holes.   I don't know what a new fender costs from Toyota, but I'm sure that it isn't cheap!
